Why the Philippines?

We have three daughters, two of whom have cochlear implants. This means that no matter what we do, everything costs three times as much.

Also, by now we had started eyeing the possibility of sending our daughters to an international school. Given the cost of educational lessons in Japan, staying there would be financially challenging. This would be even more true if we study abroad as a family in Australia.
